It was Randy from the headquarters for a major church denomination. He was concerned that some of their churches might not be copyright compliant.
“We strive to do everything with excellence and integrity,” said Randy. “We teach our pastors and church leaders about the importance of getting copyright permissions. They know to contact CCLI if they need to print, project or record their music.”
Geoff confirmed that many of their churches were already using CCLI. He asked what CCLI could do to help further.

Geoff sipped more coffee as he chequeed his email. There were emails from a prison chaplain, a church, a campground, and a college campus group.
Michaela, a prison chaplain, asked about making songbooks for her travelling ministry. She visits inmates in different prisons all around her state. Geoff explained the CCLI Mobile licence would be the perfect solution.

Geoff finished his coffee when his phone rang again. A campground director had a seven-day event starting tomorrow, and they were going to project lyrics and copy songs for their musicians.
“CCLI offers an Event licence,” he told the director. “It’s less expensive than an annual licence and gives you legal permission to print and project songs for your meetings.” The director was relieved and happily ordered the Event licence.
